The King Cobra can reach a length of over 16 feet. Unusually for snakes, the King Cobra builds a nest for its eggs which it guards until they hatch.

THE MOST VENOMOUS SNAKE IN THE WORLD

INLAND TAIPAN (aka. FIERCE SNAKE)

Oxyuranus microlepidotus

This long (up to 7 feet), slender and graceful predator of Central Australian dry plains and grasslands is said to be packed with enough venom to kill up to 100 adult people with one bite. However, contact with people is rare and because of its relatively non-aggressive nature it is by no means the most dangerous snake, despite the potency of this Taipans' venom.
